DISCOVERY GRANT RECIPIENTS   Grant Descriptions Upon Request   Included are grants dispersed under the auspices of  The Ambassador Felix Schnyder Memorial Fund, The Laura Greenberg Endowment, and The Muriel Fusfeld Foundation. These grants are administered by the Lauri Strauss Leukemia Foundation.   All grant award requests and recipients are reviewed, and approved by the Lauri Strauss Leukemia Foundation Medical Board.    Our "Discovery Grants" serve as seed money for young investigators who might not otherwise receive funding.  The grants enable them to investigate new theories which subsequently qualify them for large corporate and government funding, thereby bringing their research into potential clinical trials and valued prominence.  The foundation has awarded nearly $3 million in "Discovery Grants".
